New: Congratulations Pour In As Prince Harry and Megan Markle Welcome Second Child

Felicitations are pouring in, as Prince Harry and Megan Markle welcome royal baby, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

According to E! News the couple announced the arrival of their baby girl, Lilibet "Lili" on their website, Archewell Foundation page while expressing their happiness at the arrival of their bundle of joy.

Announcing Lilibet's birth, the royal couple wrote; "On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we've felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family."

Lilibet's birth has been met with open arms by the entire Royal Family, Buckingham Palace gave a press release regarding her birth and congratulated the couple.

The press release from the Buckingham Palace read that "The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex." 

The rest of the Royal Family used their social media handle to congratulate the couple on the arrival of Lilibet.

"We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan, and Archie."  — Prince William and Kate Middleton wrote on the Instagram account.

Then, Prince Charles and Camila family also extended their congratulations, their message read; "Congratulations to Harry, Meghan, and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana Confetti ball. Wishing them all well at this special time."

Lastly, Princess Eugenie shared her congratulatory message on her Instagram story, she said "Congratulations dear cousins. We couldn't be happier for you all." 

The details about the baby's name indicated that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II was honored by Prince Harry and Meghan because they named their baby girl, "Lilibet", which happens to be Queen Elizabeth's nickname.

Also, Lilibet's middle name "Diana", signifies she was named after her late grandmother, Princess Diana. 

Prince Harry couldn't be a happier father right now, his excitement was disclosed earlier in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. 

"To have any child, any one or any two would have been amazing; but to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for? But now, you know, we've got our family. We've got, you know, the four of us and our two dogs, and it's great." Prince Harry explained earlier in March.

The statement from the couple on the Archewell Foundation page revealed that "Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home" and also thanked everyone for their warm wishes and prayers.

Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the baby came at a time the family needed some good news because it hasn't been long since Prince Philip was laid to rest on April 17. So Lilibet's birth arriving at a time like this is a sort of breath of fresh air for the entire Royal Family.
