How Did The Kardashians Get So Rich And Powerful?
From a personal perspective, the Kardashians came into the limelight courtesy of reality TV show producer Ryan Seacrest. He's the one who approached the family and offered them the chance to make their everyday life a reality TV show. Ryan thought the Kardashian family is funny, he then approached them and offered to make the family public. Through him, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' reality show was born.
Many years later, the show brought in so many earnings for both E! Channel, Ryan Seacrest and the Kardashian family. Also contributing to making the three parties involved extremely famous.
However, KUWTK had one person as the main center of attraction, which is Kim Kardashian. She is the queen bee of the show and the most talked about among her family members. She possesses the aura and swagger needed to sell the franchise to Americans and the rest of the world, her personality matched exactly what the world would love to see daily from celebrities.
People needed a star they can hate and love at the same, and Kim stepped into this role, played it perfectly well, and brought her family along with her.
Kim Kardashian retains the exact character Ryan Seacrest was looking for when he approached her family with an offer to air their daily lives. Other personalities that helped balance the show was Kris Jenner. The momager's calm individuality and managerial skills were vital to the life of the show, because the Kardashian family can be a little too much sometimes.
Someone with a strong sense of responsibility was needed to keep the family together and also help the rest of the Kardashian girls climb the social class ladder without putting a foot wrong. It was Kris Jenner's job to do all this on and off camera, and she did it remarkably well.
Kris's maturity is so evident that even if you take away the show, she'll still do her job as a mother and a natural manager effortlessly. Her role in Keeping Up With Kardashian was clearly defined, and that is to keep her family in line.
Back when the Kardashian women started getting famous, it was Kris Jenner's job to keep her girls feet firmly on the ground. She knows one silly move from either of them could ruin their growing reputation and destroy everything they've worked hard for.
Kris's traits to identify an impending doom and gloom coming against her family is not something she developed at a later time in her life. If you study her, you'll notice she has her eyes everywhere, trying to figure out where the next attack on her family will come from. I always thought she's a bit edgy sometimes, but it's just her showing off her momager skills as the years went by.
Kris Jenner is the kind of woman to get all her girls in a room and speak to them on how important it is they put in all their efforts on to the show and make it work in the early seasons. I can even picture her telling the girls something like "listen girls, this thing can set us up for life if you do what is required of you. You don't need to do much, just be yourselves and throw in a little drama when it's needed. Okay?"
Sounds like something Kris would do back then, right? Yes of course. For the success of the Keeping Up With The Kardashian show and the fortune it brought in for everyone involved, a huge credit should definitely go to Kris Jenner. Without her the Kardashian women wouldn't be as grounded as they are today despite all the money they raked in since the years the show has aired.
It's no rocket science that the Kardashian girls got rich and powerful by consistently putting all their effort to make the show progress over the years it aired on E! Channel.
KUWTK had real life happenings, drama and a bit of entertainment which I believe were carefully scripted. But how these women kept focused for so many years without putting a foot wrong is something I think should be a case study.
I mean, how do you air a show like this for so long without any member of the Kardashian family making one single mistake capable of jeopardizing their reputation?
This indicates that Kris Jenner and her family are aware of how much of an impact the show is making in their social and economic lives, so they did everything possible to protect the reputation of the show till date.
Back to the question, How Did The Kardashians Women Get So Rich And Powerful?
Its simple, they worked hard to keep the show running for many years, and then built a strong fanbase around it. Then they channeled all that audience and popularity they got from the show into their personal businesses, and watched it boom.
This is a simple strategy the Kardashian family used to build their various multi-billion dollar companies, and it worked out perfectly for them.
So the show is ending?
