Kanye's 44th Birthday Party: Who's Invited, Kim Kardashian or Irina Shayk?

For the first time in 8 years, Kanye West is celebrating his 44th birthday without his wife and kids together. The American rapper and billionaire businessman separated with his long-time partner, Kim Kardashian early this year, he also moved out of their luxurious home and now living the life of a single father.

Kanye and Kim Kardashian met in 2012 have been together for eight years but legally married for only six years, they have four adorable kids and have endured a shaky relationship for a long time.  They recently decided to call their marriage quits, though rumors are saying it was Kim who first asked for a divorce.

Kanye hasn't been speaking much about his divorce, but at one time, it was reported that he told Kim to file for the divorce, so she could retain her dignity. But due to rumors surrounding their separation and who kicked who out of the marriage, Kanye allegedly opened up that he was responsible for their divorce and told Kim to do it because he doesn't want her to lose respect if it was done the other way around.

Kanye West has come a long way since 2012, from getting married to one of the most loved and hated reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, to becoming a father to four adorable kids. He's a talented rapper no doubt, he's won numerous music awards including Grammys, but his ambition went beyond music.

Yeezy wears company was his idea, an idea he turned into a billion-dollar company. One notable thing about Kanye West is his drive to succeed, he always wants to be on the top regardless of what it takes. 

 I remember vividly when he openly begged Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook CEO, to invest in his Yeezy Wear dreams a few years ago, and I don't know how many popular figures will do the same to bring their innovation and ambition to life.

Today he's currently listed as one of the richest black man in the history of America at the age of 44 years. His life may not be perfect right now, but his achievements are flawless. He's the only person alive to sell a pair of worn sneakers for over a million dollars.

Kanye showed the world there are no limits to what people can achieve when they put their minds towards a goal. If anyone tells me that a pair of shoes can worth up to a million dollars, let alone one Kanye West designed since 2008, I'll call the person bluff.

Kanye West in an auction sold a pair of prototypes Nike's he designed and wore during his performances at the Grammy Awards in 2008 for a top dollar. The footwear holds the record for the most expensive pair of sneakers to be sold, ever.

He sold his Nike Air Yeezy 1 sneakers to a company known as RARES. The company will allow sneakers enthusiasts to invest in the prototype they acquired from him for $1.8million. 

RARES is leading the campaign to make shoes a rare 'piece' that people can invest in, just like they do with gold and precious stones. Kanye saw an opportunity, took it, and they did business with him. Today the shoe he designed in 2018 has become a masterpiece, sitting in a show glass where people will pay an amount of money to see it and also invest in it.

I can go all day ranting about his achievements, but that won't be necessary because Kanye's efforts will speak for him. He's been almost everywhere, music, business, fashion, politics (yeah, he contested in the presidential elections in 2020)

The thing is, Kanye has done quite well for himself, his birthday party (if there will be any) would have been perfect with his wife and kids, all cheering for him today. I thought many successful men put in so much effort to make all that money just to keep their families happy and together. But in the case of Kanye, the billionaire rapper and businessman will be celebrating his 44th birthday for the first time with a separated family, also bearing it at the back of his mind that divorce proceedings are in progress. 

Not just that, Kanye has been heavily rumored to be involved with a Russian model, Irina Shayk. If there's going to be a birthday party anytime soon, the guest list will make headlines, because I know some A-list names will be snubbed. 

Sticking to his family, Kanye's kids on the other hand will notice it's not what it used to be when they were all living together, their mum Kim Kardashian, may likely not show up at the birthday party, but if she does show up, then we will witness a birthday party filled with awkwardness, resentment, and more importantly, gossip.

How do I know this? Because if Kanye is going to throw a birthday party, his rumored new date Irina Shayk will definitely be there, this will confirm if truly they have something going on between them. 

As for Kim Kardashian, well, for the first time since 2012, another woman 'maybe' standing next to Kanye West. A sight a lot of won't and also want to see.
