Since Chidinma Ekile Is Now Born Again, What Happens To Her 'Relationship' With Flavour?
Being born again means giving up your old life to live a new life through Christ Jesus. By accepting Christ, you can come before God and be born again. If you want to be born again, start by becoming a Christian. Then, live your life for Jesus as best you can.
Chidinma and Flavour
To leave your old life and chose a life that represents Christ means you have agreed to forgo everything that is not aligned with seeking first the kingdom of God, and that includes quitting any form of romantic relationship you have with anyone when you're still single. It also means that until you get married, you're not allowed to share intimacy with anyone you're not legally married to, even if you're doing it previously, your newfound faith forbids you to continue in that manner of life, and the Bible fully supports it.
What did the Bible say about giving up your old life when you become a born-again Christian?
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — (2 Corinthians 5:17)
So as a person who received Christ and became a born-again Christian, your previous relationship and your love life will take a new shape, you're allowed to court, but that's if your relationship is heading towards marriage. Also, you won't be involved in anything that Christ wouldn't approve of, things like having an affair outside wedlock.
Before quitting secular music and turning a born-again Christian, Chidinma Ekile has been 'rumored' to be romantically involved with fellow Igbo musician, Flavour Nabania. The two have been spotted in pictures, posing exactly as how 'lovebirds' will pose for the camera and share on social media, although all these were done before she publicly declared herself a born again.
Going through their earlier pictures together, you'll agree that even If their rumored relationship didn't exist, however, the two share a closeness that will make you think they have something serious between them. And you wouldn't fault anyone who's eager to know what happens now that Chidinma Ekile has openly declared herself a born-again.
Chidinma is no longer doing secular music as we all know, her mode of dressing has changed too judging by the new music video she released under her new record label.
Her new faith is not in doubt, she has shown she means business by deleting most of her wordly pictures on Instagram. Though she owes no one any explanation regarding this, but still, me and a few other people out there are still wondering what will become of the close relationship she shared with Flavour, since the two are no longer the same in terms of spirituality and lifestyle?
