After 7 years of marriage, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce to separate from her husband Kanye West.  Kanye and Kim tied the knot in an over-the-top Italian ceremony in May 2014. Today Kanye 43, and his wife Kim 40, are no longer together even though Kanye has been announced as one of the richest black men in America with a net worth of 6.6 billion dollars by Forbes magazine.

For me, this is truly sad knowing how long this couple has lived together and how much Kim Kardashian used to cry when her earlier marriages crashed. Kim wanted her earlier marriages to work because, in one episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she was crying to her sisters revealing that she wants to get married and have kids, but the way her marriages keep failing is making her sad. 

Few years after marrying Kanye West, she had those babies she wanted so much, but now she has personally filed for divorce to separate from her super-rich husband. Kanye West on the other hand is not speaking much about their divorce, maybe he always wanted the marriage to be over sooner, so he can get back to making money which seems like his new hobby.

According to a source, Kim will be staying at the Hidden Hills which is their family home with her kids. This is their home and Kim doesn’t want to move now at least. Kanye West lives elsewhere but is happy that Kim is staying at the family house with the kids. They both agree that the less stress the kids experience — the better for their already separated family. Kanye loves his kids, he wants them to be happy and doesn’t want to fight with Kim about anything.

Even the news of his new net-worth made me remember the work his wife put into his success. Unknown many, the Kardashian women are pure hustlers and they all work for every single cent they spend. When Kanye West started his footwear collaboration with Adidas, it was Kim who modeled it first for him and tagged in her sisters to wear it for her husband. I think the Kardashian's marketing campaign contributed to the success of Yeezy wears.

All the efforts Kim and Kanye put into their lives for years to get to the level they are now ended in a divorce, but the saddest part of it is how they stomached the guts to break up after having these adorable kids?
