In the year 2010, two American boys aged 16 and 11 were determined to make the world hear their voice, so they came together to make a smash hit single that both teens and adults sang out loud because the song was one of the best single to be released back then by a teen duo.

The song “Never Say Never” was a lead single from Justin Bieber's My Worlds album, and Jaden Smith, the 11-year-old son of Will Smith, was set to star in the big-screen remake of the movie “The Karate Kid,” so he collaborated with 16-year-old Bieber to record the single which became a hit and stayed on the Billboard charts for more than a month. 

The song owner (Bieber) sang from the heart because he was born to do music, his feature (Jaden) was an upcoming artist back then, so he was new in the music business, but he was more popular as an actor than a musician.

Both Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith came into the limelight as teen superstars when the song rocked American platforms and across the world. Never Say Never was a big hit, despite being recorded in 2010, it was released in the United States and Canada on February 11, 2011, and grossed $99 million worldwide, against a $13 million production budget.

The word Never Say Never was inspired by a famous author, Charles Dickens, it is synonymous with Nothing is impossible, and Anything can happen.

In the movie The Karate Kid (remake), Jaden Smith was an 11-year-old African-American kid who lived in China with his mother. He was bullied by older Chinese boys bigger than he is, he wanted to get back at them but wasn't strong enough until a kungfu master (Jackie Chan) took it upon himself to train Jaden and throw him into a Karate competition against the same boys who constantly bully him. Jaden Smith went on to win the Karate competition, despite having one of his legs broken by one of the bullies he faced in the final stages of the tournament, yet he didn't give up.

Over the years, the two superstars have come together to perform the successful hit single in many musical concerts around the world, this collaboration led to a friendship that went on for years as both Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith aged. 

Their friendship went beyond doing just one hit single at music concerts, both artists twin and copy each other look sometimes, Jaden Smith who usually keeps his hair in dreadlocks, loose shirts, and baggy jeans is sharing the same looks with his long-time bestie, Justin Bieber.

The two superstars haven't performed their hit single for a while, but Bieber is busy making hits songs year after year, Jaden Smith on the other hand is still into music and modeling, which he combines with acting.
